Designer, creator, conjurer. Jo Hobden’s love for crystals and all things magical began at an early age, back when she dreamed of Indian adventures and gypsy jewels.
As soon as she was old enough Jo began to travel the world, gathering creative inspiration from her experiences. Art became her education and after graduating from St Martin’s College with a fine art degree, her journey led her Hatton Garden where she completed a course in silversmithing. Here, Jo discovered a natural talent for jewellery-making, and on her next trip to India she learned the craft of macramé.
As suspected, Jo fell in love with India. It was here that she created Bo Boutique, out of the colour and vibrancy of the hippy markets. Since then she has been on the move around the world, adding to the Bo collection with handmade beauties consisting of tribal influence, healing crystals, and intricate macramé.
Bo Boutique is now home to a myriad of intricate pieces made with love, from hand-beaten brass, silver, and macramé. Whether you’re looking for some gypsy magic or some festival sparkle, check out the Bo collection for some boho inspiration.
